I was born and raised in a small town in Washington state and lived there for 19 years. Thereafter, I moved to Nevada to complete my undergraduate studies at UNR. During college I worked in a cabinet shop and later shifted industries after graduation and became an Account Executive for a prominent bank in San Diego. The people at the company were a lot of fun and the opportunities were great, but I had this growing desire to serve in the U.S. Navy. During my six year tour, I was a Seabee Builder and specialized in carpentry and later became a Deep Sea Diver and specialized in Underwater Construction...Hooyah! Ashlee and I met, and we underwent a long distance relationship for a couple years and later got married. Shortly after, she moved to California where I was stationed. Leaving the Team and the close-knit diving community that I was fortunate to be a part of was one of the most difficult decisions of my life. The Men I worked with were some of the brightest and hardest working guys I have ever met. The determining factors to get out of the Navy were the relentless deployment and training schedule, and frankly, Ashlee and I desperately wanted to live in a small town with abundent outdoor recreation. We currently reside in Montana, and I work for the most reputable custom home building company in the state and surrounding areas.
